Just a few days ago, our colleague, Sherry, made her first order since joining the company. As a newcomer who just joined the company for less than two months, she was able to get a single order. The whole company was proud of her, so we decided to have a company party to celebrate this event.
We chose haidilao Hotpot chain as the venue for the party.Entering the restaurant, each of our members ordered a lot of their favorite dishes. While waiting for the food, we were talking about the interesting things that happened around us recently and so on,often out of laughter.
After the food was served, we ate and talked. Since today is April Fool's Day, we plotted a trick on Jack: we told the waiter that it was Jack's birthday and that we could arrange a surprise for him. After a while, several waiters came and brought a cupcake and sang a blessing song. Jack thought it was for someone else at first, but it turned out to be for himself before he realized he was tricked.
In the end, everyone ate all the dishes in a no-waste manner and took a big group photo before leaving. I also hope that hooha in April will continue to forge ahead and all members will complete their work tasks successfully.
