Today is our new colleague Lucy's birthday. In order to give her a surprise, we all pretended not to know, but actually we were already planning a surprise.
First, Jack, our boss,pretended to call Lucy into his office to talk, giving us plenty of time to set up,so in the meantime we bought cakes and flowers without Lucy knowing.
