Looking at how manufacturing execution systems (MES) might be deployed in your wire and cable manufacture? How best to maximise efficiency, minimise material usage and improve quality are likely all high on your agenda.
As well as a quick return on investment, an MES provides the assurance that business-critical decisions are being supported by the most robust data.
Whilst there may be incredibly advanced off-the-shelf MES that work effectively in discrete industries such as car and mobile phone manufacture, their applicability to the cable industry is limited. ‘Grab and use’ of these systems is not an option for cable manufacturers; at least not without significant investment in customisation.
That really leaves cable manufacturers two alternatives: create from scratch their own MES or invest in an MES purpose-built for cable production.
Cimteq is delighted to announce that it will be hosting its webinar MES for cable production – build or buy? to help cable manufacturers determine the right option for their business. The webinar takes place in two different timeslots on Wednesday, 14 October 2020 at 10am (BST) and 4pm (BST). It will be hosted by Ali Shehab, Founder and President of Cimteq.
Format: The webinar will be 60 minutes in duration and will end with a Q&A session.
Registration: Register for the webinar here.
Alternatively, email Katy Harrison, Cimteq’s Marketing Manager, at katy.harrison@cimteq.com or visit Cimteq’s CableMES page for more information.
A recording of the webinar will be made available to all interested parties who are unable to attend on 14 October.
