Wire drawing machines consist of a series of rotating dies that gradually decrease the wire's diameter. The wire is fed through the machine, passed through the die, and then wound onto a spool. The die consists of a tapered hole, with each subsequent die having a smaller diameter. As the wire passes through the dies, it stretches and thins out, resulting in a reduction in diameter and an increase in length.-
