Brief description of commonly used 630 steel wire:
As we all know, tubular stranding machines are the stranding equipment commonly used by ordinary wire rope manufacturers, from conventional 1+6 structures, to 7*7 wire ropes, and then to 1+6+19 wire ropes. 7x7 AISI316 stainless steel wire ropes are widely used. The 7x7 structure is more flexible than 1x19, but stiffer than 7x19, and is generally used in applications where 1x19 lacks sufficient flexibility, or where the weaker breaking load of 7x19 is too low for the application. 7x7 is widely used throughout the marine industry as well as general engineering applications, and its excellent breaking load and flexibility with smaller diameters make it the first choice for control cables and various marine rigging applications, examples of which are shown below.
